RECENT PURCHASES 2.

Going shopping in Nottingham is never a good idea. I went with the intention of getting an outfit for Friday night, because me and some of my mates are going out in Loughborough. I got the dress, I wanted some Chelsea-ish boots too, but the cheapest were £42, which I wasn't going to pay just for a night out. I've been trying to get hold of the Rolling Stone issue with Jennifer Lawrence on the front for weeks, and nowhere had it. Popped into WHSmith this afternoon, and there it was. I've got a slight girl crush on Miss Lawrence, so I was well chuffed when they had it in stock!

Rolling Stone - £3.95, WHSmith / Sequin sea print shift dress - £15, LOVE at Topshop
'Woodstock' T-shirt - £22, And Finally at Topshop / The Hunger Games: Songs from District 12 and Beyond - £10, HMV.

CLEARER SKIES

With the weather being so miserable outside, I thought I'd cheer myself up with some happy, shiny pictures...

Anti-clockwise from above left:
I'm really looking forward to getting to a beach when summer finally arrives, dipping your toes in the water. Even if it is Skegness on a Tuesday in June. I'm loving film photography at the minute too, so I'm trying to get my Diana F+ lomo camera up and running again. I've always had an obsession with feathers and stones, and I've been coming up with tattoo ideas which incorporate feathers. IN LOVE WITH THE MODELS FACE. Especially the stars underneath. Such a cool idea, especially for festivals. The circle is a piece of fabric, I think. The colours are beautiful. And finally, the genius that is Leonard Cohen: 'There's a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.' So true.

GWEN / STELLA

So I think I just fell in love with this jumpsuit/suit combo.I was watching Fashion Police with my best friend last night (I think that programme might be my new favourite thing) and this outfit was in the 'Best Looks' section, or whatever its called. Isn't it a beauty?! I love how simple the whole thing is, and that it doesn't look that 'special' to begin with. THEN when you take a closer look, you notice the sheer panelling. It's sexy, but not in a garish way. It fits her like a glove too, which just adds to it. The simple hair, make up and shoes are perfect too. Stella McCartney, why do you make such beautiful clothes that I can't afford?!

#LAD

So today was the last game of the Championship season. We (Derby) drew 1-1 with Peterborough, which pretty much sums up our season. We had moments where we were threatening, but other than that it wasn't that special. The weather didn't help either; freezing cold and spitting of rain. Shame it wasn't like it was at the beginning of the month, red hot and sunny! It would have made the 90 minutes more enjoyable. Hopefully come August, the weather and the performance will be much improved. We can only hope! COYR.

FM LOVE

I am so in love with this song at the minute. The beautiful 'Go Your Own Way' by Fleetwood Mac. You know when a song just explains what you're going through?! That's what this song is for me.

'How can I ever change things that I feel?'

THG

So I love The Hunger Games. I read the first two books in a week, (the second within about 6 hours over two days!! )so I obviously went and got the third one. God bless vouchers. I'll be starting on this baby later!

W O R K

Ok, so as of tomorrow morning, I am proper job hunting. as in a career job - something connected to what I studied at uni. My best mate has just got a job at the local hospital and I'm so very proud of her. It's inspired me to get my finger out and go and find something I actually want to do. I don't want to waste three years of studying and nearly ten grand in tuition fees by working in a shop. That's the idea.

INHALE

HELLO AGAIN.

So i thought i'd give this a shot again! Third time lucky.
